
CAPTAIN LANDED FLIGHT IN ZERO-VISIBILITY

MULTAN, Jan 11th: A pilot of PK-578 (ATR-5) successfully landed the plane at Multan airport at 1535 with 45 passengers in zero visibility due to condensed fog .It was the first plane which land in Multan after three days.The passengers prayed to God after landing in Multan. Passengers told that Multan control tower had informed the Karachi airport that Multan airport had been closed due to condensed fog thus they should not allow take off of any flight for Multan. But a Pilot of PK-578 said ,” I am ready for take off to Multan taking risk of weather.Passengers who are ready to travel with him to board on it otherwise they can cancel their tickets,” upon this 45 passengers agreed to go with him as adventure. He ,very successfully,landed the plane having to facility and ability to land with zero visibility.

It is appropriate that you have chosen the colour yellow as your background as this piece of reporting is a classic example of yellow journalism. I was a passenger on this flight and no such incident happened. No pilot can land a plane in zero visibility unless he has X ray vision. Nor was there any statement by him asking passengers whether they wanted to take the risk or get off the plane. This is a complete bundle of lies. The plane took off and we were inforemd that we might have to divert if weather conditions did not allow us to land. As hings turned out, conditions allowed landing and we all reached our destination safely. I am shocked at the rubbish you have chosen to spread.
