SQI observe sit-in & Long march if Seraikistan province not included in 18th amendment, Fareed Koreja

MULTAN,Jan 31st: Khawaja Ghulam Fareed Koreja Chief of Saraikistan Qaumi Ittehad has opposed the allotment of state land to the Multi-national companies and graduates of upper Punjab and said that Government should include a section of Seraikistan province in the eighteenth constitutional amendment so that it could be approved by the parliament with two third majority. Delivering his speech at a dialogue with press jointly organised by Saraikistan Qaumi Ittehad (SQI) and Minorities movement of democracy on Sunday.Syed Hassan Raza Bukhari and Fr.Younas also spoke. He said that Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani should avail this chance for the creation of fifth federating unit.He said that Southern Punjab land was distributred among the bureaucrats, generals, and privileged class in the name stud-farms, cattle farms but now we would not let the rulers distribution the land of Thal, Cholistan, Dhandhi estate. He demanded that this land must be allotted to the landless peasants, farmers of this land.
Khawaja Ghulam Farered Koreja said that member of National and provincial assemblies should raise voice for the cause of Seraikistan otherwise they would be forced to observe "sit-in" in front of their residences and long march from the mausoleum of Khawaja GHulam Fareed (Kot Mithan Sharif) to Darbar of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya (Multan) besides developing public opinion in favour of seraiki province.He said that Bahawalpur province movement was launched to divide and sabotage the Saraiki movement while this movement had no support of the masses.Hassan Raza Bukhari said if Government restores the Bahawalpur state then it would have to restore the Khairpur Mirs state and a number of states of Balochistan and NWFP.He announced to take part in local bodies election whole heartedly and a front of all Seraiki nationalists parties was being formed.He alleged that Jagirdars and Wadera of this land were playing the rold of unionist party.
