MULTAN,Feb 13th: Jamshed Khan Dasti MNA chairman of NA's standing committee on Sports has vowed to purge the ministry of sports of corruption and new talent would be promoted . Talking to newsmen at his native town of Muzaffargarh on Saturday He said that corruption mafia had made the Cricket board hostage for several year which caused decay in the performance of the team .To a question Dasti said that he would examine the report of team manager Abdul Raqeeb besides testifying the statements of the players on Pakistan’s disastrous tour of Australia. Jashmed Dasti said that such errors would not be repeated in future. He blamed defensive captaincy by Mohammad Yousuf and discipline problems for the debacle.The defeats forced chief selector Iqbal Qasim to resign from his post, while the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formed a six-man evaluation committee to ascertain the reasons for the defeats. Coach Intikhab Alam and wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal were also axed from the 14-man squad for two Twenty20 matches against England in Dubai on February 19 and 20.The committee, minus Wasim Akram, who excused himself from attending for personal reasons
