MULTAN,March 12th:Afghan president Hamid Karzai has assured Islamabad that he would soon release the children of Dr. Aafia siddiqui,it was told by Interior Minister Rehman Malik to Dr.Fauzia Siddiqui sister of Aafia siddiqui. Talking to newsmen at Multan airport on friday Dr.Fauzia siddiqui said,"Rehman Malik told me on phone that Afghan president Hamid Karzai is sitting close to him and he assured that he would soon release Dr.Aafia's children.Malik also offered herv to talk to Karzai directly but she declined,"

She said that she would soon give a call for a long march for the return of her sister. She categorically denied any financial assistance from the Government for her family and said that Government,perhaps, made payment to lawyers for legal assistance.

Dr.Fauzia Siddiqui said ," we are commencing her "Dr.Aafia-release"drive from Multan today which is a city of prime minister ,foreign minister. She said that Dr.Aafia's release and return was in the hands of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.She would return home whenever the rulers desired.She replied to a question that Aafia was a criminal or not it is a question mark.She was a daughter of Pakistani nation who was involved in a fake and fabricated crime. She said that rulers cannot satisfy the nation without the return of Dr.Aafia Suiddiqui to Pakistan However I left this matter on the disposal of nation.

She said that Government should move to international Court of Justice for her release besides waging diplomatic efforts
