Six Pakistanis of a family burnt alive in Dubai, three hurt

MULTAN, April 24th: Six member of family of Chak No.272/HR (Fort Abbas) in Bahawalnagar district were burnt alive and another three injured in a big fire when they were sleeping in an apartment in "H" Block of fruit & Vegetable market of Dubai.The injured were removed to Al-Rashid Hospital, Dubai. Muhammad Javed,one of the survivors told that he was on night duty but his brothers Pervez, Zafar, Muhammad Arshad, his cousins Muhammad Rashid, Liaquat Ali, Munawar Ali, Muhammad Riaz, Shaukat Ali and Muhammad Zafar were sleeping in their apartment. All of sudden, fire broke out in the room with big bang. Resultantly six persons Muhammad Arshad,Pervez Ahmed sons of Abdul Majeed, Rashid Ali, Abdul Ghafoor, Liaquat Ali and Munawar Ali burnt alive and Muhammad Zafar,Muhammad Riaz and Shaukat Ali received serious burns.They are in critical condition.Muhammad Javed told newsmen that he returned with only three bodies Muhammad Rashid, Liaquat Ali and Abdul Ghafoor while another three bodies of Muhammad Pervez, Zafar Ali and Munawar Ali are still in the custody of Duabi police.Abdul Majid father of Muhammad Javed has appealed to Prime Minister and foreign minister to help them in briging the bodies of another three persons.He told that his four sons and six nephews were serving in Dubai since 1995.
