MULTAN,May 30th:At least five persons died including two children while another six sustained injuries amid a road accident at Chowk Chaugatta near Sargodha late on Saturday night.According to sources, A family was going to Lahore to receive their relatives at Lahore airport who were coming back after performing Umra. the accident took place as a speedy wagon vehicle met a head-on collision with a truck. Police said that twelve member of a family were going to Lahore from Sargodha, in a van. As their van reached near Chowk Chaugatta ,it collided head on with a loaded truck in a bid to overtake another vehicle. Those who died identified as Aqsa (7), Samiullah(18) Zubair,Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Ramzan Rescue team shifted the injured oersons and dead bodies to Sargodha hospital. Where condition of two persons is state to be serious. Truck driver made off from the scene leaving his vehicle at site.
