MULTAN, Jan 30th : Former President of Pakistan Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari has said ," It is a white lie that I had informed the FBI about Aimal Kasi and abetted in arresting Aimal Kasi who was a CIA agent from a hotel of Dera Ghazi khan and allegation levelled by Zulfikar Khosa that Aimal kasi was arrested on his pointation was absolutely wrong, white lie and baseless," Leghari said that Mian Nawaz Sharif was responsible for the arrest of Aimal Kasi at the hands of FBI in 1997. Addressing a press conference alongwith his son Senator Jamal Khan Leghari, he said that Aimal was involved in an attack on January 25, 1993 near the entrance of Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) headquarters in Langley, Virginia where two CIA employees were killed and three others wounded. Kasi fled the country and was executed by lethal injection in 2002.Leghari said that a corrupt elements Government cannot resolve the people's problem and this government had disappointed the masses by adding to their miseries. He said that present federal and Punjab Government were responsible for the collapse of local Government institutions. but we would be emerged as the biggest party in forthcoming local bodies elections which would expose the popularity of the ruling parties. He said that my sons Owais Khan Leghari former federal minister for telecommunication and Senator Jamaal Khan Leghari were organising their group in Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts which would give a tough time to the Khosa group headed by Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khan Khosa.Leghari further said that PML-N was losing ground and Mansehra by-poll had exposed its popularity.
