MULTAN, Jan 27th: City District Nazim Multan Mian Faisal Mukhtar , Town Nazimeen MIan Jamil Ahmed, Rai Arif Mansab, Rana Suhail Ahmed Noon, Malik Shaukat Hayat Bosan and Muhammad Akram Ansari have rejected the approval of bill of new local bodies system by Punjab cabinet and said that they would move to the court of law to challenge the appointment of administrators describing it unjust and unlawful.Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday they said that Punjab Government headed by Mian Shabaz Sharif wanted to sweep the poll by hook or crook and now it would place its favourites bureaucrats in the districts as administrator to get positive results.They said that Government was binding to announce the schedule of next local bodies elections and fresh winners could replace the existing ones.but Provincial cabinet has approved the bill of new local bodies system and local bodies elections within six months.They said that Punjab Chief Minister was highly terrified with the PML-Q supported Nazimeen who had won the laurels of the General Public by doing development schemes and spending huge funds on different projects. They alleged that members of National and provincial assemblies were displaying their name-plaques on the projects executed by the Local bodies to get cheap popularity. They said that media should expose such element.It may be recalled that a meeting of Punjab cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif held here in Chief Minister House. The cabinet has approved the local bodies bill. The amended bill will be presented in the National Assembly today.It said cabinet has discussed each clause of the bill to make the system transparent. He said local bodies election will be held within six months. A local bodies election authority will be established and its head will be the qualified person equivalent to Supreme or High Court judge.
